Fedora EPEL 4 Update: torque-2.3.10-1.el4
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2010-0230
2010-02-17 16:39:25
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : torque
Product : Fedora EPEL 4
Version : 2.3.10
Release : 1.el4
URL : http://www.clusterresources.com/products/torque/
Summary : Tera-scale Open-source Resource and QUEue manager
Description :
TORQUE (Tera-scale Open-source Resource and QUEue manager) is a resource
manager providing control over batch jobs and distributed compute nodes.
TORQUE is based on OpenPBS version 2.3.12 and incorporates scalability,
fault tolerance, and feature extension patches provided by USC, NCSA, OSC,
the U.S. Dept of Energy, Sandia, PNNL, U of Buffalo, TeraGrid, and many
other leading edge HPC organizations.
This build was configured with:
--with-default-server=localhost
--with-tcl --with-tk
--enable-gui
--with-rcp=/usr/bin/scp
This package holds just a few shared files and directories.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
New Upstream fixes various bugs. * b - Fixed a bug in run_pelog
(src/resmom/prolog.c) where epilogue.user was given the argument list for
prologue scripts and not epilogue scripts. Ticket 6296. * b - Fixed pbs_mom's
default restart behavior. On a restart the MOM is suppose to terminate jobs
that were in a running state while the MOM was up and report them to the batch
server where the job will be reset to a queued state. But it should not try and
kill any of the running processes that were associated with the job. Prior to
this fix the MOM would try and kill running processes associated with any
running jobs. * b - Made changes to source files and configure.ac to enable
TORQUE to compile on Solaris5 platform with gcc-warnings enabled. Currently
TORQUE must be compiled with the --disable-gui option because X11 support on
Solaris is not working with the current TORQUE build scripts. * e - added qmgr
server attribute job_start_timeout, specifies timeout to be used for sending
job to mom. If not set, tcp_timeout is used.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-Apache-DBI
Product : Fedora EPEL 4
Version : 1.08
Release : 1.el4
URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Apache-DBI/
Summary : Persistent database connections with Apache/mod_perl
Description :
This is version 1.08 of Apache::AuthDBI and Apache::DBI.
These modules are supposed to be used with the Apache server together with
an embedded perl interpreter like mod_perl. They provide support for basic
authentication and authorization as well as support for persistent database
connections via Perl's Database Independent Interface (DBI).
o DBI.pm provides persistent database connections:
- connections can be established during server-startup
- configurable rollback to ensure data integrity
- configurable verification of the connections to avoid time-outs.
o AuthDBI.pm provides authentication and authorization:
- optional shared cache for passwords to minimize database load
- configurable cleanup-handler deletes outdated entries from the cache
Apache::DBI has been in widespread deployment on many platforms for
years. Apache::DBI is one of the most widely used mod_perl related
modules. It can be considered stable.

Update Information:
Upstream changes: 1.08 February 3rd, 2010 - Fix bug to allow DBI in startup.pl

Name : python-paste
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 1.7.2
Release : 1.el5
URL : http://pythonpaste.org
Summary : Tools for using a Web Server Gateway Interface stack
Description :
These provide several pieces of "middleware" (or filters) that can be nested
to build web applications. Each piece of middleware uses the WSGI (PEP 333)
interface, and should be compatible with other middleware based on those
interfaces.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Changes since the previous version in EL-5 (1.7.1) * In paste.proxy,
added some more headers that are disallowed in WSGI (e.g., Keep-Alive). Send
Content-Length. Also fix the missing query string when using paste.proxy.Proxy
(paste.proxy.TransparentProxy already worked). * Make paste.debug.prints
work with Google App Engine. * Make environ['wsgi.input'] with
paste.httpserver only have a seek method if it is wrapping something with a seek
method (which usually it is not). * In paste.httpserver re-raise
KeyboardInterrupt in worker threads. * Added support for the HttpOnly
Cookie property to paste.wsgiwrappers * Added
paste.reloader.add_file_callback(), which lets you watch files based on a
callback. * Quiet Python 2.6 deprecation warnings. * Fix
paste.auth.cookie generating bad headers. * Added
paste.reloader.JythonMonitor for an experimental, optimized reloader on Jython.
