-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora EPEL Update Notification FEDORA-EPEL-2018-095a53435e 2018-08-09 16:33:43.581763 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : cjdns Product : Fedora EPEL 7 Version : 20.2 Release : 4.el7 URL : http://hyperboria.net/ Summary : The privacy-friendly network without borders Description : Cjdns implements an encrypted IPv6 network using public-key cryptography for address allocation and a distributed hash table for routing. This provides near-zero-configuration networking, and prevents many of the security and scalability issues that plague existing networks.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
I've disabled -march=native and Intel AVX optimizations so that the package should run on any x86_64 cpu. I left SSE2 optimizations for i686, but the Fedora builder didn't support SSE2, so they are not present in the package binaries. The rpmbuild option without-generic will enable all CPU optimizations present on the build platform. If cjdns is already working for you, this update will only make it slightly slower. :-) This update should make the package work on all supported systems. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References:
