--- Comment #2 from Leslie Satenstein <lsatenstein(a)yahoo.com> ---
I am not a Fedora software developer. I am a 7 year use of Fedora and a 25 year
hardware and software engineer. I am presenting bugs as an end-user sees them.
The RedHat stipulated rule for reporting bugs is.
If you do not know the application, guess. and provide details. We will do the
rest.
And no, it is not a run level problem. It is the fact that the selection omits
to say that GUI interface software is not included (no Gnome, Kde, Cinnamon or
even Mate.
This bug was raised as a request. The software did not catch fire, but it is
really incomplete description of the selected option.
I would say that the interface text was written by the developer who is much
too close to the application to understand the end-user's requirements.
I will leave it as you say, not a bug, but a deficiency. And you are wrong.
Doing the group install of "Gnome Desktop", worked partially, I happen to do
thorough testing and as it is now, I fail Anaconda as being in need of some
additional text, instead of the sparse amount that is presented on the screen.
