--- Comment #1 from Jack Reed <jreed(a)redhat.com> ---
Hi James,
(You may not be the right person to consult about this, so feel free to forward
this along if need be.)
Is there still a method for setting up daily system updates using yum?
The dead link Bryan has found used to point to this page:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Core/4/html/Software_Managemen...
It offers a single command to update the system daily. This yum guide is no
longer updated, so I could add such a command or procedure to the Installation
Guide.
I've tested the old command in F18 and, unsurprisingly, it doesn't work. The
/etc/ paths no longer exist.
The following wiki page is marked as old and hasn't been updated since 2008
either:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/AutoUpdates
Are you able to offer an updated command, or a procedure if one isn't too
cumbersome? Or should this just be avoided?
