[Bug 1044541] New: Consider making SELinux a REQUIREMENT, not recommendation.
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1044541
Bug ID: 1044541
Summary: Consider making SELinux a REQUIREMENT, not
recommendation.
Product: Fedora Documentation
Version: devel
Component: release-notes
Assignee: relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: mikelieman(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: docs-qa(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
CC: relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org, wb8rcr(a)arrl.net,
zach(a)oglesby.co
Description of problem:
While trying to upgrade, I ran into an apparent conflict between fedup and
SELinux, which is disabled on this particular instance. Without finding it as
a requirement, I reached out to the IRC channel #Fedora for assistance.
Their response to my apparently supported use-case was vigorous, and let's just
leave it at 'off-putting'.
The take-away is that SELinux IS A DE-FACTO REQUIREMENT going forward, and the
documentation should to corrected to reflect this REQUIREMENT.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F20
How reproducible:
Unknown
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Disable SELinux
2. Reach out to #Fedora on IRC for support
Actual results:
Offensive, Insulting Derision
Expected results:
Confirmation that yes, it is a de-facto requirement, and yes, the documentation
should be updated to reflect it.

[Bug 1036721] New: TX don't works with two different xml files with the same name in the publican tree
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1036721
Bug ID: 1036721
Summary: TX don't works with two different xml files with the
same name in the publican tree
Product: Fedora Documentation
Version: devel
Component: security-guide

QA Contact: docs-qa(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
CC: pkennedy(a)redhat.com, security-guide-list(a)redhat.com,
sparks(a)redhat.com, zach(a)oglesby.co
Description of problem:
In the files Publican tree :
....
Contexts_and_Attributes.xml
Targeted_Policy.xml <<<<<<<<<<<<
Working_With_SELinux.xml
Managing_Users.xml
Troubleshooting.xml
Further_Information.xml
Managing_Confined_Services.xml
Managing_Confined_Services/MCS_Introduction.xml
Managing_Confined_Services/Targeted_Policy.xml <<<<<<<<<<<
...
the file Targeted_Policy.xml is used twice.
The files are not identical: the first in the list is well-stocked (29.9ko)
by comparison with the second (22.3ko). The first seems newer.
I don't know if duplication is necessary, but the duplication of two différent
files with the same name arises problem of translation in Transiflex. Tx offers
one file for translation: the second (the last in list?). So when you build the
html with publican, many sentences are not translated.

This is a tracking bug for Change: python-setuptools update to 0.7.x and
greater
For more details, see:
http://fedoraproject.org//wiki/Changes/Python_setuptools_0.7
Update to a new upstream release of python-setuptools that is not completely
compatible with previous releases. The python-setuptools "major" version may
be higher than 0.7.x as there's some other structural changes happening that
should not affect API.

---
Currently, no rawhide packages are known to be incompatible with the updated
setuptools. Moving to MODIFIED.

This is a tracking bug for Change: ARM as primary Architecture
For more details, see: http://fedoraproject.org//wiki/Changes/ARM_as_Primary
Make ARM a primary architecture. Add armv7hl to the i686 and x86_64 as arches
that we build and support. This will mean that all packages supported by the
ARM architecture must build for ARM to be released. With the release of Fedora
19 we have deprecated support for software floating support (ARMv5tel sfp) so
the only proposed addition to primary architectures is currently ARMv7 hardware
floating point 32 bit support (ARMv7 hfp 32bit).
--- Additional comment from Dennis Gilmore on 2013-08-22 18:57:11 EDT ---
we are building arm as primary, everything is on target right now.
