Welcome Dolores!!
I'm sure we will learn a ton from your experiences and have a fantastic
interaction with other groups. We are organizing our first activity, the
Fedora Women Day, so please, feel free to ping any of us at IRC. We held
bi-monthly meetings, yet, we are talking like crazy every single day (at
least to say hi!)
Fantastic news to have even more people aboard!

Hi Dolores,
Nice to hear from you and very warm welcome to the team :)
I am sure your fantastic experience will help us shine.

Meskarune,
Super Welcome! I'd like to echo jflory7's sentiments here and say it
is *really* awesome to see cross-community collaboration going on
here, and I think that we can learn lots from your experience.
If you haven't been pointed to it yet, there are a couple of
onboarding resources we have for new users, with our general purpose
sorting hat here
http://whatcanidoforfedora.org, and the specific
onboarding steps for the Community Operations (CommOps) team here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/CommOps/Join.
We all hang out in #fedora-commops (many of us in #fedora-diversity
and #fedora-outreachy) where we talk shop, answer questions, and
generally make awesome :)
We look forward to getting to know you :)
Happy Hacking,
--RemyD.
P.S. - As we are now getting more formalized around D&I, perhaps we
could add an entry to our WCIDFF for getting more folks involved with
these programs? Maybe it would be helpful to add info about your
program onto the Fedora wiki as well, to help strengthen the bridges
and get more cross-pollination going on too? :)
