If the files were compressed using tar.xz, we may ask tar about the
uncompressed size: tar tvfJ file.tar.xz.
It seems that tar also uncompresses the xz stream to get the size, it
takes a lot of time and CPU power.
I hoped to avoid the need of extracting the xz file to get the size. The
--list option gives us that. It works on Rawhide, but it does not work
on Fedora 12.
