They are not present in the Linux core files. AFAIK Solaris stores them into
the core files.
ABRT stores /proc/PID/maps into the core file associated set of files as
/var/spool/abrt/ccpp-*/maps. GDB has no support for fetching this file (I do
not think it should have).
