We're working on creating a new member join page here at Commops,

Hi Keerthana, I'll try to provide feedback while my journey to CommOps is still
fresh so I can backtrack my steps.
As I mentioned in the self-introduction email I did start with the
Infrastructure wiki page that sent me to setting up the FAS profile (and that
proved to be a key point in finding CommOps!) then went back to the Join main
page in the wiki where I looked for other areas where I can contribute to. Once
I was happy with the information I could gather from there I took a closer look
at my FAS home page and noticed the Groups List option in the side menu.
Selecting to view all groups displayed a much longer list than the one in the
wiki and wanting to find out what groups I can join I looked for those with an
Apply button beside them. Opening up the CommOps group page I jumped to the
wiki URL to find out what the group does. The next question was "how do I
join?" and that was clearly answered under "Rules for Application" (+1).
Having something like Ralph's:
http://whatcanidoforfedora.org/
feels easier to navigate to me although just as the wiki it doesn't list all
the groups from FAS.
Also as it turned out the CommOps wiki page isn't referenced on Fedora Join,
the only way I came across it was through the FAS home page.
Lastly, the CommOps wiki page has no instructions on how to join the group. In
that respect I do like how the Docs project built the walk-me-through flow:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs_Project
although the instructions from FAS group page got me here in no time :)
Hope you'll find this useful.
