Also as it turned out the CommOps wiki page isn't referenced on
Fedora Join,
the only way I came across it was through the FAS home page.
Lastly, the CommOps wiki page has no instructions on how to join the group. In
that respect I do like how the Docs project built the walk-me-through flow:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs_Project
although the instructions from FAS group page got me here in no time :)
Hope you'll find this useful.
This is actually excellent information. We are working towards forming
our own official Join process and to make it more publicly clear about
what someone has to do to "officially" become a member of CommOps (this
was actually a topic in our meeting today).
I'll make a mental note to check out how the Docs team has their Join
process set up once we get to drafting our own page.
Hi Remy, yes I'm aware of the meeting, problem is the time falls
right during
my work hours. I may be able to negotiate some time off later down the road.
I'll ask the friendly Meetbot for logs and will seek clarifications from the
group if needed.
No worries about being unable to make the meeting times – if you read
the meeting logs and check in frequently on the mailing list, this
should suffice to keep you up to date and current about what happens at
meetings.
Nice, I've gone through them and I'll get ready to jump into
#fedora-commops.
You'll hear my screams for help shortly
Looking forward to it, and looking forward to working with you here in
CommOps!
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. It surely feels good.
As always, if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. :)
