I'm not a Fedora packager yet, so I'm going to read deeply the
"Becoming a packager" wiki section. and I 'll take a look to Apache
Accumulo package.
On the other hand, Apache Flume is a fundamental tool for data
injection, and nobody is working on it. Also the Apache Kafka tool is
widely used in the scope of data routing toward the big data
subsystems.

Hello,
One new based-on-Hadoop package that will be available in Fedora 21 is
Apache Accumulo. I'm sure there's other BigData projects that would love
your help, but I know Accumulo could definitely use some more testing in
Fedora, and there's a few open bugs that could be addressed to make it
better, if you want to take a stab at those and you are interested.
However you decide to help out, welcome!
