regarding #1, correct, however currently hadoop packages are not
included in those fedora platforms.
Regarding #2, we would like to add a runtime comparability testing, due to
a better performance .

For #1 and #3, these are Secondary Architectures in Fedora. See

For #2, could you explain the goal a bit more? IBM JAVA 7 is your
closed-source Java implementation, right? Do you mean you'd like to make
sure the Fedora packages could optionally work with that?
