If you up the sleep just before you call mddetail to 3 instead of 2
it seems to pass.
Not on rawhide:
======================================================================
ERROR: testMDRaidAsRoot (devicelibs_test.mdraid_test.SimpleRaidTest)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/tmp/blivet/tests/devicelibs_test/mdraid_test.py", line 299, in
testMDRaidAsRoot
self.assertEqual(info_pre[k], info_post[k], msg="key: %s" % k)
KeyError: 'RAID DEVICES'
We have a lot of sleeps in those tests. My ultimate plan is to
have a way of actually waiting until those arrays are ready
for their operations by checking status maybe, and get rid of
all those sleeps.
I'll second what vpodzime said: see if blivet.udev.settle works.
But for now, sleep(3) will probably do it just as well as a skip.
