I'm having an issue testing this against the delayed_job gem submitted
to Fedora. The problem is that the submitted gem is dependent on Rails 3
where as our application is not Rails 3 complaint yet. I submitted a
patchset updating the aeolus conductor to Rails 3, but this needs to be
reviewed / acked, and various other gems in Fedora need to be updated to
be Rails 3 compliant.
Would it be possible to update the delayed_job gem to work against rails
2.3.8 (it looks like the activesupport 3.0.0. dependency was recently
added). Other wise we'll need to downgrade the version submitted to
Fedora or not use delayed_job for the time being.
Hi, thanks for looking at this patch. Yesterday I sent link to
delayed_job 2.0.6
(
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2829748) which we
should put into our repo. When we switch to rails3 then we can use
delayed_job submitted to Fedora. AFAIK no way to update fedora version
to work with rails 2.3.8, though I'll ask Vit. For now I see only way in
putting 2.0.6 into our repo.
As a side note, the patch adding the delayed_job bits to
aeolus-configure needs to be rebased. Thanks.
Thanks, will resend it.
