Hi, I got a thought that it would be great if we could put up Aeolus to social networking websites like facebook , google plus etc. By this way we would be able to reach to a greater number of people as today most of the crowd uses these websites quite often . This way users will get more number of ways to approach us and we would be able to spread the news about aeolus to a greater crowd . I would be happy to take the intiative but surely will be needing lots of help , any further suggestions will be great .
Print only if its necessary Regards Nitesh Narayan Lal

I think this is a great idea. There's not much to be lost in trying it, either -- even if doesn't get us any new interest, it's not like we're out any money or much time.
I'm not sure how ownership of the accounts should be set up. Anyone have any good suggestions here?

Who prints out their email these days, anyway? ;)

Thanks to Nitesh, we're now live on Facebook and Google Plus:
On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AeolusProject
On Google Plus: https://plus.google.com/b/116664377051307565388/116664377051307565388/posts
We've been on Twitter for a long time: https://twitter.com/aeolusproject
And don't forget our blog, either: http://blog.aeolusproject.org/
A group of scientists has suggested that if you don't "Like" us on Facebook, you might be a psychopath: http://mashable.com/2012/08/07/no-facebook-psychopath/
The science is a little questionable, but you should probably add us on Facebook in any case just to make sure.

We've had an Aeolus Google+ Page for a long time:
https://plus.google.com/u/1/109718770418645820147/posts
It's got more people in it so I suggest we keep using it, but if you want to use the new one, let me know and I'll delete it. Having two pages would be confusing.

I'm all for using the existing one. I didn't know it existed.
That said, if we use the existing one, we should _use_ the existing one. It's blank right now. ;) (So is the new one, but that's because it's about 12 hours old.)
