Patch Set 2:

Vdsm should run with system V. You can't add code that won't work in specific environment, we need vdsm to integrate with most of linux services to reduce surprises. 

I don't see your suggestion for workaround the issue, only the use of signalfd that looks helpful and can replace the implementation of zombieReaper if I understood it correctly.
There are any news in that issue? patches that I've missed?
