I don't like VDSM because due to the vdsm namespace we already use you end up with weird C names (ie. vdsm_vdsm_ping).

To me, the root api object is special because it is at the root of the api and because it has special methods like connect and disconnect.  The term 'Host' doesn't communicate that special-ness in the way that I would like.
