We plan to support this setup in the next SSSD release, see e.g.
https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/1588 . The reason is that samba
itself does not only use the PAM and NSS interfaces but call winbindd
directly to get additional information which is not available in the
other interfaces.
