The bugzilla (#886165) was proposed for RHEL-5.10, but the 5.10 release has
not yet been fully planned so I can't tell for certain yet whether it's going
to make 5.10 at all or if it's going to be released sooner asynchronously.
I'm sorry I don't have a better answer but talking to your RH support
representative to escalate the issue is probably the best course of
action right now.
