Looks good to me. 

The only thing I was wondering was if we want to make this part of the
NSS responder, because architecturally, the NSS responder now only knows
the name-service-switch maps configured in nsswitch.conf. But on the
other hand, it's also "name resolution" and rolling the API into
nsswitch.conf would save us from yet-another-responder.

So maybe make it clear in the names of the functions and the constants
that these are SSSD-specific calls?
