What authconfig version are you using? I suppose it is the 6.0.0-2
version from F12. The support for SSSD in that version was just
experimental and in F13 it is replaced with much more simple support
that configures the /etc/krb5.conf as well. I don't want to update
authconfig to this version in F12 though as that would mean the SSSD by
default feature would be forced on many users.
