Once that branch is created would it make sense to start gradually creating
RHEL-7 content from current Fedora content (like convert existing rules to
Fedora | enhance shared OVAL checks functionality after testing they are
still working on RHEL-7) or you would like first to create all the "basic
SSG skeleton" for the new product (including the overlays etc.), copy
the RHEL-6 rules, subsequently / later via test_attestation(s) correct those
not working?

For me I would prefer the former (Fedora access) since it would allow us to start
creating RHEL-7 content right away and add STIG overlays etc. only in
moment things have settled down already (IOW the desired RHEL-7 content form
has been agreed upon already from the official PoV), but of course
if you think the latter would be more appropriate, let's consider / follow that one.
