Subject: Developer Conference 2013 - Call for participation

Hi everyone,

it's the time of the year again when we start planning the annual
Developer Conference in Brno Czech Republic. For the history of the
conference and more details please read bellow.

The conference will happen in Brno on February 23rd and 24th. This time
we have to organize the conference during weekend due to limitations at
the University. Last year the conference attendance was around 600ppl
every day and we hope to get to similar numbers again.

At this point we're looking for talks, labs and hackfest proposals. Feel
free to submit your talk proposals at

http://devconf.cz/cfp
(devconf.cz page is under construction and we're slowly getting it into
shape but the link will always work)

Little background and history of the conference

The Developer conference started as internal day of presentations.
Various teams were presenting future plans, new technologies and
features in their projects to other teams. After FUDCon in Brno we
wanted to continue with the community event and we have quickly turned
the internal Developer conference into public and open Developer
conference. For last three years we were growing the number of talks and
also number of attendees. Last year we run over 60 talks and 15 labs and
workshops and the attendance was around 600 ppl every day. Still the
main focus is on sharing the information within Red Hat teams, meet the
team members and share the knowledge. You can check the schedule from
last year
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DeveloperConference2012#Conference_Schedule where
you can see that we had a large participation from various JBoss teams,
Kernel, Desktop, Security and others. We hope we will offer even more
interesting talks and sessions.
