gwt regex api?

Just a reminder ... we are past feature freeze ( http://pad.engineering.redhat.com/jon-3-schedule ) ....
I know addressing "pet peeves" is well intended, but these sometimes introduce regressions. A soft feature freeze is not my preference. As we are approaching GA, I am expressly advocating against feature creep and in favor of bug fixing.
Regards,
Michael

Subject: gwt regex api?
Well, Heiko - I gave it a shot and just hit the problem I should have
remembered. I am trying to get it where the alert definition page will
allow for units to be specified (your pet peeve).
But the reason why we haven't done it yet is because of this:
00:00:32.800 [ERROR] Line 22: The import java.text cannot be resolved
00:00:32.912 [ERROR] Line 23: The import java.util.regex cannot be resolved
00:00:32.912 [ERROR] Line 39: Pattern cannot be resolved to a type
00:00:32.912 [ERROR] Line 47: Matcher cannot be resolved to a type
00:00:32.912 [ERROR] Line 78: DecimalFormat cannot be resolved
Anyone know if/where there is a good regex/parser API for GWT - out of
box, GWT doesn't support any of the built Java ones.
