I am pleased to announce the release of netcf 0.1.2.

Changes in this release are mostly focused around interrogating live
interfaces. Detailed news:

  - The interface.rng schema now allows specifying IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
    in any order
  - ncf_if_status: new API call
  - ncf_if_xml_state: only report information about the live interface, and
none of the information from configuration files; report interface
type; report all addresses assigned to an interface; report MAC address
    of an interface
  - ncf_list_interfaces, ncf_num_interfaces, ncf_if_xml_state: fix bugs
when dealing with interfaces that are down
  - ncf_if_mac_string: do not report error when MAC is not known, simply
    return NULL
  - use libnl to determine information about live interfaces

Tarball: https://fedorahosted.org/released/netcf/netcf-0.1.3.tar.gz
GPG signature[1]: https://fedorahosted.org/released/netcf/netcf-0.1.3.tar.gz.sig

RPM's for Fedora and EPEL are making their way through the build systems
and will be available shortly from the usual repos.

[1] To verify the signature, first download both the .sig file and the
corresponding tarball. Then, run a command like this:

  gpg --verify netcf-0.1.3.tar.gz.sig

If that command fails because you don't have the required public key,
then run this command to import it:

  gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys FC6E8A22

and rerun the `gpg --verify' command.
