It seems better to change test-wrapper.sh instead. Sadly the current
change doesn't work fully. I also need the following change:
diff --git a/tests/test-subr.sh b/tests/test-subr.sh
index cb34b93..f91f1cb 100644
--- a/tests/test-subr.sh
+++ b/tests/test-subr.sh

+ LD_LIBRARY_PATH="${libdir}:${libdir}/elfutils${LD_LIBRARY_PATH:+:}$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" \
$program ${1+"$@"}
else
$program ${1+"$@"}
Does that look sane?
Thanks,
Mark
