Handle s390x installs better

Sure, it was very clever in 1972. 

But 40 years have passed, and the rest of the world has basically agreed
on using ASCII¹ and VT220².

It's far easier for us to support that than to try to continue dealing
with EBCDIC/3270. So that's where we're going.

I will say this: If anyone with 3270 expertise is still alive (I imagine
them chained to a desk in some sub-basement at IBM) and wants to help do
the work to make 3270 easier to support up here on the surface world in
the 21st century, here is a message for them:

        Come on out, friend! The Cold War is over! No flying cars yet,
        but we have those cool communicator dealies from Star Trek!
        They've got more processing power and storage than you could
        dream of! We use them to run physics simulations³ for fun! Join
        us!

Until I get a response, though... ssh is where it's at.
