[PATCH] get liveinst limping along

The following patch series fixes up liveinst enough to where it hits the same
NTP traceback post-install that normal installs do. I consider that to be
a minor victory. It does, of course, have the following problems:

* Using getDirSize for spaceRequired is pretty slow. It's probably good enough
for now, though, and someone with a suitably clever idea can figure out a
  better way to do it.

* The spinner on the progress hub doesn't spin, and I have no idea why. Last
time I did a real install, it spins. So it's either broken there now too,
or it's live-specific. This just makes us look like we're hung.

* It's likely there's another traceback or two hiding after the NTP one but
I can't tell because that's not been pushed yet.

But like I said, limping along. This is probably good enough to get everyone
else looking at it so we can have something in for alpha.
