Twitter move to Java

I would be careful to use the term Java, I would say, JVM based languages :)

Yesterday, we had Ruby meetup(BRUG[1]) with co-leaders of jruby (Mr.
Charles Oliver Nutter & Thomas E Enebo). They showed us some facts about
MRI vs. jruby. Especially they showed how MRI's Garbage Collector is
worse than Java's one for enterprise environment. In Rails 3.2 GC takes
40% of working time, and of course they mentioned that's one of the
reasons why Twitter moves to Java.
