Hi
What should I do to build a 2.6.19-xen0 and 2.6.19-xenU kernels using
xen-3.0.2.....
It is always default building 2.6.16-xen0 and 2.6.16-xenU kernels even if I
keep the linux-2.6.19.tar.bz2 file in the xen-3.0.2 and compile....can
someone suggest me the extra steps reqd.?
Basically you can't. Xen was stuck on 2.6.16 kernel for a long time and
for Fedora we forward ported the code to work on newer kernels - this is
seriously non-trivial - ie can take months of work. We never did it for
3.0.2 anyway because that's an ancient release with a large number of
serious scalability issues which make it uninteresting for any serious
deployment. Fedora Core 6 has Xen 3.0.3 + 2.6.19 kernels available.
