How to keep track which pot file has to be updated, and when? About the spins one, I am going to finish translating it in about 2 weeks. I will probably have other typo to correct.
That sounds good to me.
You didn't answer my question ;) Should we generate new pot file each 2 monthes?
that was my point 2), isn't it? sed is a tool that can replace strings in a file. for example $ sed -e 's/KDE, XFCE, GNOME, and others/KDE, Xfce, GNOME, and others/g' -i *.po will do it.
sed does a great job and it is really easy. My point was more torwards.. why bother just updating that specific string, when there is likely a handful of other strings that need to be updated.
I was speaking in a case that the pot is up to date and we need to correct only one string

Oh, i didn't answer it. I thought you meant that you will update the spins POT in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, updating the pot file every 2 months would be OK.
