I think we should display the information, then cite/state where the information was retrieved from.

Instead of providing a specific whois information, we could provide a tool where they can find the contact information. For example, we could simply refer to:
http://www.internic.net/whois.html
Don't you think this is a better approach?
Why? What's wrong with just providing the whois information directly?
