Feedback from Distrowatch
by Rahul Sundaram
Hi
Serious question; Should the Fedora logo be changed?
http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20120507#news
'
The Fedora website provided fairly positive results. Everyone was able
to find an appropriate download link for the Fedora ISOs. Likewise,
people were able to find the documentation to walk them through an
installation without too much trouble. What I found a bit amusing was
that almost a third of the participants thought Fedora was some sort of
Facebook plugin or application instead of a full operating system, due
to the project's logo. This is one of those things people inside the
Linux community would probably never consider, but there's a bit of a
confusion over the brand (apparently) where outsiders are concerned."

Also noted that pages at http://stg.fedoraproject.org are older than at
the (live) site at http://fedoraproject.org, for the Dutch anyway.
I've Updated some strings quite a while ago at
https://fedora.transifex.net/projects/p/fedora-web/resource/fedoraproject....
Showed correct at live site within an hour or so, old strings still at
stg. today.
master branch still not accepting translations
(again, what is 'master' about a master branch anyway?)

Fedora Websites Team
by Bryan P. Hollis
Hi Ricky,
I wanted to join the group Fedora Websites Team. Brief background of me.
I own three web hosting sites. I have been working with servers for many
years, but decided about two years ago to build my own. While I am a
RedHat fan, I specifically will not use any other distro than Fedora for
all of my servers. I have learned a great deal about Fedora, mostly 13,
14, and 15....14 being my fondest. Although my servers do have aspects
of 15. (I like the networking system of 14 before they switched and made
eth0 and sysconfig a pain. )
I am also a web designer. My strong points are servers (OpenVZ, shared
environment, load balancing, etc.) and I believe I could offer some
assistance to this group, in addition to learning what others know in
the group and where they tie together. I look forward to being a part
of your group and helping Fedora get better and better.

Re: Correct site address of Fedora Indonesia Community

Adding the mailing list in CC as Yafiz replied only to *me*, and I am
not THE one having the full power :)

Hey, If you're an amba, you should have read yesterday my feeling
about the Fedora Community:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/ambassadors/2012-May/019505.html
So please, try to sort that with your community, in public, as to
avoid internal conflicts.

Please guys, use bottom posting only.
The question has been raised to the board and amba mailing list, and
should now be continued there.
I would appreciate if you guys could explain you there:
