Hey,
So the static site as it's up at http://fedoraproject.org/_/ (and in CVS) has fonts that are way bigger and more awkward that the mockup on Ricky's site. Compare:
Ricky's site (looks great!): http://people.redhat.com/duffy/fedora/web/ss/riczho.png
CVS (too big and awkward): http://people.redhat.com/duffy/fedora/web/ss/cvs.png
I diffed the stylesheets for each and found no differences. Minor differences in the html too. I'm at a complete loss, am I missing something really obvious??
I'd really like the static site to have the nice font sizes like on Ricky's site.

If you look at the "G"s on each of those pages you'll see that there are two different fonts in use. Maybe that's the cause?

Figured it out; the page doesn't specify an encoding, Ricky's server sets to utf 8, FPO wasn't sending one (and neither was my cvs co) so it defaulted to ISO-2022-JP. Somehow the different encoding made the text blow up and changed the font in use.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question...
Concerning http://fedoraproject.org/_/
Why does the webpage say Fedora 6 in the text and artwork? Will this be replaced automatically in the final version?

Placeholders, to be replaced manually in the final version.

How's that with the translations of those static pages? Wiki front pages have now often their translations. Is this possible for this static one?
