Hi people at WASM SIG
I am the only maintainer of the RPM package rpms/simde[1][2] right
now. And the simde is one of the dependencies of the wabt (the
WebAssembly Binary Toolkit)[3][4] RPM package.[5]
A few months ago, I was asked to upgrade the simde to upgrade the wabt
RPM, because a commit included in the latest simde version fixes an
issue in the latest wabt RPM. So, I upgraded (rebased) the simde RPM,
and also worked to make the regular RPM rebasing work easy, by adding
the Packit CI to test Fedora rawhide cases to the upstream CI.[7], and
simplifying the simde.spec file.
My question is, can someone in WASM SIG join the main or co-maintainer
of the rpms/simde to upgrade simde RPM package? Because the work is
related to maintaining the WebAssembly ecosystem. I want to reduce the
work related to simde to focus on other things.
Thanks.
