We will be having a Fedora Videos meeting on this Saturday at 4:30 PM UTC. You could check the respective time at your place from herehttp://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html . The main agenda of discussion would be to discuss the further roadmap for Videos and to evaluate the pending tasks progress. Hope to see you all in the meeting at #fedora-meeting.

Not sure if I'll make it to the meeting. Could you think about templates for any session recordings that we make at FUDCon Beijing? I plan to record whatever sessions I attend.

No worries.

Will you guys bring your own video recording device? It'll be great if you can bring good equipment along. Also you can guide onsite volunteers since some of them might be not so experienced.

Hi,
Sorry but I don't have any equipment. I was hoping that you could do a live stream of the session. As its quite simple and all you need to do is put a laptop and start a hangout session. http://www.google.com/+/learnmore/hangouts/onair.html You could do several things through it, such as sharing it on youtube etc. The only limitation would be the number of people who could actually join the hangout.

I plan to bring my digital camera. I think it's 12 megapixels and records fairly well. Probably not as good as professional equipment, though.

Hi Ankur & Nitesh,
First thank you for coming to FUDCon Beijing as speakers. You guys provide excellent talk topics for FUDCon, and I hope you are preparing them well. But the email is mainly about another thing. Since you guys would like to bring your own camera, I wonder if you guys want to record some short videos of attendees and volunteers on site, and edit the video together to show at the end of the conference. This idea is actually started by GNOME.Asia folks. Their plan is:
- - Pick a random attendee or volunteer at random time (but mostly break time). - - Record while asking them several simple questions, such as: - Who are you? - Why are you using GNOME? - Do you use GNOME at home or at work? - etc. - - In Sunday afternoon, edit the video together - - Show it live at the closing of the conference.
I think it is really a nice idea, and I would like Fedora community can have similar plans. However, currently we do not have that many volunteers who can do this job. Maybe you guys can help? This would lay more burden on your shoulder, so you are free to decline. I'm OK to leave the plan out.
