Hi Shu,
The page has a configuration of the bridge interface, which shouldn't be related to the problem, and then the following segment:
----
Add the following content into the file:*/etc/vdsm/vdsm.conf* (you may need to create that file): [vars] ssl = false Restart the vdsmd service by executing: service vdsmd restart If Vdsm was started earlier with ssl=true, it would refuse to start and you may need to use the undocumented verb service vdsmd reconfigure service vdsmd start which edits*/etc/libvirt/qemu.conf* and changes*spice_tls=1* to*spice_tls=0*.
----
I tried that and after trying to restart the services, I get:
[root@fedora16 log]# systemctl status libvirtd.service libvirtd.service - LSB: daemon for libvirt virtualization API Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/libvirtd) Active: failed since Thu, 08 Mar 2012 11:16:13 +0100; 9s ago Process: 2787 ExecStart=/etc/rc.d/init.d/libvirtd start (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) CGroup: name=systemd:/system/libvirtd.service
[root@fedora16 log]# systemctl status vdsmd.service vdsmd.service - Virtual Desktop Server Manager Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/vdsmd.service; enabled) Active: failed since Thu, 08 Mar 2012 11:15:55 +0100; 36s ago Process: 2513 ExecStart=/lib/systemd/systemd-vdsmd start (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) CGroup: name=systemd:/system/vdsmd.service
There is still nothing in /var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log The following appears in /var/log/libvirtd.log 2012-03-08 10:13:18.152+0000: 2307: debug : virHookCheck:115 : No hook script /etc/libvirt/hooks/daemon 2012-03-08 10:13:18.152+0000: 2307: debug : virHookCheck:115 : No hook script /etc/libvirt/hooks/qemu 2012-03-08 10:13:18.152+0000: 2307: debug : virHookCheck:115 : No hook script /etc/libvirt/hooks/lxc 2012-03-08 10:13:18.157+0000: 2307: error : virNetTLSContextCheckCertBasicConstraints:166 : The certificate /etc/pki/vdsm/certs/vdsmcert.pem basic constraints show a CA, but we need one for a server
I am documenting the steps I take, so that others may find them useful...
Thanks!

It is seems the authentication get some problems.
You can use this link as a install reference to disable the authentication . http://www.ovirt.org/wiki/Installing_VDSM_from_rpm

Time to debug further in... Clues in /var/log/libvirtd.log? Do you see anything when you run libvirtd --listen from the command line? Dan.
We are getting closer now, it appears that some paths are broken...
