Hi,
I'm just trying to figure out how to get the "hooking" module into my pycharm IDE.
It doesn't seem to resolve, or was the package renamed?
The ovirt.org wiki is very slow atm so I don't know if there is more actual informatin on the site.
answering myself:
for pycharm: just copy the whole /usr/share/vdsm folder from a compute node into your project folder right click project folder and select: "Mark directory as" → "Source root" then you can do:
from vdsm import hooking

Hi Sven,
you do not have to copy (and you should not). At least in IDEA with Python plugin.
Just add the directory as external (global) library to the Project structure or add the path to the list of paths in the interpreter setup.
