Thanks for the info Tom.
I will be installing F17 on a friends Computer that has USB-3 ports on it
and I wanted to be sure.
I would imagine that those 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB-2
devices.
Since there are many USB3 chipset manufacturer, why don't you download
a live disc of Fedora and run that with an external USB3 storage
device before install. If you have USB3 connectivity, you should get
around 60-80 MBs. USB2 gets about ~20-30 MBs.
