I am then prompted for pass word for repair, but I am unsure as to
how
to proceed. What do I do now.... I entered the root password, and tried
to edit /etc/fstab to remove the above mentioned entry, but /etc/fstab
is read only and i can't save the changes.
There is a remount command (I think, or maybe an option on mount) that
will let you remount root as read-write, or you could boot off the fedora CD
or DVD and type "linux rescue" and get to your root partition from rescue mode
to edit the file.
