Hi,
I would like to know if someone already installed MySQL on Fedora 17
without any issue?
I mean by without any issue, to install MySQL from A to Z (first
try) without really no issue.
I found several posts/tutorials on internet and for some reasons
nobody seemed to be successful from the first try.
I had also some troubles with remote access and socket when i
installed it on several computers (virtual or real hardware).
`sudo yum install mysql-server
sudo service mysqld start'
`sudo /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation`
`sudo chkconfig mysqld on`
Works for me :-)
Cheers,
Phil...
