The other possibility is to create a bootable USB flash drive from the
network install CD iso. This worked for my Netbook that doesn't have a
DVD/CD drive. Take a look at either unetbootin or liveUSBcreator to
create the required USB flash drive, as these provide the easiest
methods for doing so..

Since I keep recommending unetbootin I only recently fond out that the
version downloaded depends on 32 bit libraries so it will not run easily
on a 64bit system.
