Having entered the age of digital photography with the purchase of a

Any clues on how to discover this? Thanks.
Two things: the camera probably has a setting to show how it presents
itself to the computer, either as a disk drive or as a PTP (or MTP)
device. If it's a disk drive, it should just mount, probably as a FAT
or VFAT system. If it's MTP or PTP you need to install a Fuse module to
mount it. Install simple-mtpfs and read the instructions.
