If you set the monitor configuration to have the two external monitors on
and the laptop screen off, what happens when you push the power button on
the dock? Hybrid graphics cause a lot of problems, so that could be an
issue as well.

Sorry for the reply snafu.
Let me toss in a related question then.. would disabling either of the
graphics adapters help matters possibly? I am about to begin looking into
that also.. But to answer your question, I don't know. I guess I was
afraid of it not registering when off the dock and then for some reason not
sending display to the laptop screen. But I will definitely try that at
the end of the day.
