You need to get the proper installer program from the Brother website.

This is correct. I have HL-5450DN.  It's great. One of the best laser printers I've ever had. Always worked well under Fedora.

My mistake dunno what I was thinking of when I wrote that !

Ah thats great, wondering why the Fedora driver did not work, should this go on bugzilla ?
