Ok, that's what I was looking for. The funny thing is that I had just
been reading about how Pango can no longer use bitmap fonts like that.
I suspect that's what happened. There is some way to convert the bitmap
font to open type which can be used. I suggest doing a search for
"pango bitmap fonts" to see a lot of discussion about this and how to
work around it.
Thanks very much! This is more complicated that I thought with unclear chances of success.
Perhaps I can just roll my own pango rpm stuck at 1.43 for now and see whether that will
do the work.
I really like my font and would like to keep using it.
