A few months ago there were some messages about an updated version of
the install CDs or the DVD, is this still available from someone's site
or on bittorent?
The June FC4 CDs/DVD do not have adequate support for my motherboard
(Biostar TForce 6100-939) with the nForce-4 chipset so the on-board
network card (RTL8201BL/RTL8201CL) and other things aren't found. FC5-T1
just keeps rebooting after the install too fast to see what the problem
is and I've tried many of the kernel options.
SUSE 10 works great though but I'd rather run Fedora. I'll probably try
FC5-T2 next week if I can't get FC4 installed.
Agreed, I could download all of the base, updates, and extras with SUSE
then do a local yum update with the hobbled FC4 and see if that works.
Thanks for the information / suggestions.
