Hello,

What is strange is that I can boot
Fedora 24 (DVD Server install)
vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img inst.stage2=hd:LABEL=Fedora-S-dvd-x86_64-24 nomodeset

but I cannot boot
Fedora-Workstation-Live 24 (x86_64)
 with
/images/pxeboot/vmlinuz initrd=/images/pxeboot/initrd.img root=live:UUID=.....
rd.live.image nomodeset

It seems a graphics issue
Actually, I am not sure, when I try to boot the Fedora-Workstation-Live 24
nomodeset is not a good option: the screen flashes. Thus, it seems better
to remove this option, then the booting process is stucked at:
Started User Manager for UID 1000
Actually, when it should switch to the graphic mode!
Finally, it works if I boot with:
nouveau.modeset=0 vga=0x31B

Hello,

I guess that it is going to work; I must now be able to make an install.
I am able to run gparted by setting vesa 1280x1024 which is
actually turned to 1920x1080 !!
Then, I was able to run the fc24 fedora installer.

Thank for all the suggestions

This good info for me - but one needs 2 computers for the vnc, and

The text mode seems terrible because it pretty much will not let user
have a multi boot HD.

I think the developers need to address this issue in future releases.
No, the problem is that NVidia is not open-source friendly, so I make
sure any computers I buy don't have NVidia graphics.
That was the effective gist of my first reply to the OP :)
