Thunderbird is not supposed to send html to this address.  Sometimes it happens!  I am having a lot of trouble with it since upgrading to F8. I am about to remove and reinstall Thunderbird.  Probably should have done a fresh install.

wondered who.

do you have 'plain text' marked in you address book?

Certainly do, and plain text only to this address.

I've just copied all the Mail/filters, etc. and about to try yum remove and reinstall to see if that helps.  I've had to kill and restart Thunderbird a dozen times a day lately.  It won't let me delete messages and then sometimes locks up completely and has to be killed, and that leaves a lock file to be removed, and then it gets worse. Yesterday I gave up and rebooted the computer.

Next will be a clean Linux install.
