Hello,

Actually, now another problem cropped up: Eclipse EGit can not push to GitHub any more (but bare Git still can):

An internal error occurred during: "Push to spreat - origin".
Could not initialize class javax.crypto.JceSecurity

  Thanks!

     Best,
     Oliver

     Hello,

A reinstall of OpenJDK fixed it.

Before, even java -version would just be silent.

  Thanks!

alternatives --list | grep openjdk

What is your setup? Do you have single Java versions installed or multiple?
What do you get when you run following commands?
